By our calculations....Boudreau is an All-Star

Concerning the All-Star Game coaches...

"The league chooses its coaches based on the team from each conference that has the top winning percentage through games of Jan. 4, the midway point of the regular-season...The assistants are the coaches whose teams have the next highest points percentages."

So that means Claude Julien of the Bruins will be head-coach and Bruce Boudreau of the Caps will be the assistant for the Eastern Conference All-Stars.

Nothing is confirmed yet but I doubt the NHL is about to change the way it conducts the coaching selections for the ASG.

If I were Julien and Boudreau, after the puck drops, let the "starters" play the shortest shift in hockey and then put the real starters in the game.
