Pretty incredible story coming out of Kettler. Brian Pothier practiced with the Capitals, according to Tarik El Bashir.
"Brian Pothier is practicing with the team for the first time since suffering a devastating concussion last January. It was so unexpected, I did a double take when I saw him doing a two-on-one drill."
Pothier suffered a concussion last season courtesy of Milan Lucic, an injury that put his hockey career in jeopardy.
Pothier appeared in 38 games last season, scoring five goals, nine assists for a total of 14 points and was a +5.
I'm not expecting Pothier to be in the lineup anytime soon, but it's great news for Pothier, his family and the Capitals.
